La Petite Blanchardière,
A restored estate in Sabran in the South of France
A peaceful setting for slowing down and spending time together.
Ideally located in the hamlet of Mégier, in the village of Sabran, La Petite Blanchardière is surrounded by woodland and vineyards. It offers a peaceful base from which to explore the Gard and this part of the South of France, away from the bustle.
The estate lies along the Côtes-du-Rhône wine route. Country roads wind through the vineyards to local wine estates where visitors can discover and taste the wines of the area.
Four nearby villages are listed among the Most Beautiful Villages of France: Aiguèze, La Roque-sur-Cèze, Lussan and Montclus. The Pont du Gard and the medieval town of Uzès are also among the region’s highlights.
The neighbouring villages of Cavillargues, Tresques, Connaux and Gaujac provide local shops and regional produce.
A family project,
and a place close to our hearts
An estate with a long history, set among vineyards and woodland.
We discovered La Petite Blanchardière in 2020. Known locally as Saint-Castor, the stone property was built in 1850 on the site of a former ninth-century priory. A Saint-Castor cross still stands behind the main house.
Over time, the outbuildings — including a former bread oven, barn and sheepfold — were adapted to meet the needs of the people who lived and worked here.
Restoring the estate became a family project. We renovated the buildings with care, chose materials suited to the property and redesigned the outdoor areas while preserving the character of the place.
Today, La Réserve and La Grange welcome from 2 to 10 guests for a few days or a longer stay. They can be booked separately or together. Guests share the garden, pétanque court and large saltwater pool overlooking the vineyards.
We look forward to welcoming you.
