La Petite Blanchardière is located in Sabran, in Provence Occitane, among vineyards and woodland. La Réserve accommodates 2 guests, La Grange up to 8 guests, and both gîtes can be booked together for a stay of up to 10 guests.
The gîtes
Where is La Petite Blanchardière located ?
La Petite Blanchardière is located in the hamlet of Mégier, in the commune of Sabran in the Gard. The estate is in Provence Occitane, between the Côtes-du-Rhône vineyards and the Cèze Valley, close to Uzès, the Pont du Gard and several villages listed among the Most Beautiful Villages of France.
What accommodation can be booked ?
The estate comprises two fully renovated gîtes:
- La Réserve, a 35 m² holiday cottage for 2 guests;
- La Grange, a 135 m² holiday cottage for up to 8 guests.
Both properties can also be booked together to accommodate up to 10 guests.
Can both holiday cottages be booked together for 10 guests ?
Yes. Booking La Grange and La Réserve together provides 170 m² of accommodation for 10 guests, with 5 bedrooms, each with its own shower room and private WC, two equipped kitchens, two living areas and a large terrace overlooking the vineyards.
This option is well suited to families and groups of friends who want to stay together while retaining independent spaces.
Which gîte is suitable for a stay for two ?
La Réserve is designed for 2 guests. This single-storey 35 m² holiday cottage includes a bedroom with a shower room and WC, an air-conditioned living area and an equipped open-plan kitchen.
Is La Grange suitable for families and groups of friends ?
Yes. La Grange accommodates up to 8 guests in 4 bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own shower room and private WC.
The large kitchen opening onto the living room and the terrace overlooking the vineyards provide room for shared meals and time together while preserving everyone’s privacy.
The swimming pool

Does La Petite Blanchardière have a swimming pool ?
Yes. The estate has a large outdoor swimming pool overlooking the vineyards. It is reserved for guests staying at La Petite Blanchardière and shared by La Grange and La Réserve. The pool is available from May to September.
Which outdoor areas are available to guests ?
Guests can enjoy the garden, the areas around the gîtes, the swimming pool in season and the pétanque court.
La Grange also has a terrace overlooking the vineyards, furnished for outdoor meals.
Is the estate suitable for guests with reduced mobility ?
No. The layout of the grounds and the gîtes does not allow this. The grounds are sloping and include terraced levels, staircases and several changes in level. The gîtes and outdoor areas are not adapted for guests with reduced mobility.
Is the estate suitable for very young children ?
The layout of the estate requires particular care with very young children. The grounds are sloping, include staircases and terraced levels, and are not fully enclosed.
Facilities
and services
Are the gîtes air-conditioned ?
Yes. La Grange and La Réserve are fully air-conditioned. Every room has reversible air conditioning, which also provides heating during cooler periods.
Are the kitchens equipped ?
Yes. Each gîte has an equipped kitchen so that guests can prepare meals independently, including:
- fridge-freezer
- hob
- oven and microwave
- dishwasher
- coffee machine
- kettle and toaster
A washer-dryer is also available in each gîte.
Are bed linen and towels provided ?
Yes. The beds are made up before arrival and bath towels are provided.
Is end-of-stay cleaning included ?
Yes. End-of-stay cleaning is included in the rental price. A welcome kit is also provided to help you settle in.
Is Wi-Fi available ?
Yes. La Grange and La Réserve have high-speed Wi-Fi.
Is parking available on site ?
Yes. Free outdoor parking is available on site for guests staying in either gîte.
Planning
your stay
What are the arrival and departure times ?
Arrival is between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m., and departure is before 11 a.m.
Keys are handed over in person so that we can welcome you and show you the estate and your accommodation.
What is the minimum stay ?
The minimum stay is 3 nights during the low and mid seasons.
In July and August, the minimum stay is 6 nights. Arrival and departure days remain flexible, subject to availability when booking.
How much is the security deposit ?
The security deposit is:
- €500 for a stay at La Réserve;
- €800 for a stay at La Grange;
- €800 when both gîtes are booked together.
It is released after departure and inspection of the accommodation, subject to any damage or outstanding amounts.
What are the cancellation conditions ?
A booking may be cancelled free of charge up to 30 days before the arrival date. Any amounts already paid will then be refunded.
If the booking is cancelled less than 30 days before arrival, the full amount of the stay is due and non-refundable.
Are pets allowed ?
No. Pets are not allowed at La Petite Blanchardière.
Is smoking allowed inside the gîtes ?
No. La Grange and La Réserve are entirely non-smoking. Smoking is permitted outdoors, except in the swimming pool area.
Can a party or event be held at the property ?
No. La Petite Blanchardière welcomes holiday stays, but parties and noisy events are not permitted.
Do the owners live on site ?
Yes. The owners live on the estate and remain available if required, while respecting guests’ independence and peace and quiet.

How do I get to La Petite Blanchardière ?
La Petite Blanchardière is located at 659 route de Sabran, Saint-Castor, hameau de Mégier, 30200 Sabran.
The A7 and A9 motorways are approximately 20 km away. Avignon and Nîmes TGV stations are around 40 km away. Marseille Provence and Montpellier airports can be reached in approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.
What can I visit around Sabran ?
La Petite Blanchardière is an ideal base for exploring Provence Occitane and the Gard:
- Uzès and its market;
- the Pont du Gard;
- Nîmes;
- the Cèze Valley;
- La Roque-sur-Cèze and the Sautadet Waterfalls;
- Aiguèze;
- Lussan and the Concluses de Lussan;
- Montclus;
- Saint-Quentin-la-Poterie.
